What's the long term goal?
Dunno. I'll keep playing and see how far I get. The Pl4N will only ever extend to the next big step, no grandiose aims to max.

The reasons for a text blog are many.
The Youtube progress genre is huge, with many highly talented people contributing. There are content creators who are better gamers, better video editors, and put more time and effort into their work than I have any intention of doing. We'll never have time to watch all of them, so I'd recommend watching one of them instead if you want to watch a progress video.
Text is still a good medium for conveying progress on the account. You can read at your own pace, skipping over what you aren't interested in, searching for what you are. I can vary the content without resorting to having second channels as many creators have to when they want to expand into guides and specific videos.
And perhaps the real reason is laziness. I set up the blog in 2 hours then was up and running.
